About two months ago, we attended a seminar and contributed as requested by the facilitator. I had noticed a couple of guys who train in Judo rolling and got "giddy". I asked if I could play and they reluctantly allowed me to. Little did I know that these guys were high level black-belts and were just being nice. Long story short, I was waiting to counter an arm bar that was applied in a way that I'd not actually seen used. While waiting, I heard a few "pops" in my elbow...I didn't tap soon enough as I was waiting for the other leg to cross my body... I can still function but, experience some discomfort when I move something heavy or while in training. How long should I expect to have discomfort in that elbow? I don't believe it is bad enough to go see a doctor but, it will certainly prove to be a factor in any tournaments that I play in. I did also see the value in being reminded that it's never a bad thing to tap in practice. Any experienced responses are very much appreciated.
