Okay I'm an mma fighter and I've been in the wrong weight cla*s since I've started (LHW/HW). Well I wanting to drop to middle weight (185ish) before I fight again. That will be about 50lbs to cut. I've always been big 300+ at one time so I've dropped a good chunk of weight. What I was wondering was everyone's choice on diets for a combat athlete. I have had weight loss success with atkins based diets but I feel real drained and my training suffered.

Check out the Grappler's Guide to Sports nutrition, well worth it.
