A buddy of mine rescently got me started on this myspace thing. I always thought it would be neat to have an online diary (blog). I got to thinking more about this when I saw Johnny Guerrero's blog. I checked out myspace and found that they have forums for any topic that you could ever think of. I was also pretty surprised to find several people that I already know on there. Anyways, if your a myspace'er then post the link to your site! If not, check it out... you may find something you like. Here is mine; www.myspace.com/vincentfields

Vince... i have heard quite a bit about myspace in recent times. I'm not really sure i understand the whole thing. Basically it seems that it's just a place to put up a web site of your own for free. And then you can direct people to this site so that they can check it out? is that basically it? And then isn't their also some component that allows you to link up with other users and have "friends" listed or linked to you or something like that..... Can you explain/elaborate.

Ya, thats the basics of it armyofone. What I really like about it is that I quickly found many people through it that I had not seen or heard from in years. Many folks that I knew in other countries or while I was in the Marines. Also I've run into lots of my former students there. It's nice to keep in touch with them and see where their lives have taken them.
I also like the blog feature. It's a place where you can rant and rave and have folks that know you check it out if you want.
It's more addictive/ fun than one would realize at first. Once I started looking for old people I knew and finding them I was hooked.
