Unfortunately I've never previewed any of Lloyd Irvin's products so I can't comment on them. However I have heard great things about his skills and I'd love the opportunity to train with him someday.
Hopefully someone who has studied the book of his that you are referring to can comment on it.

I actually purchased the blue print (a small book) back in November 2005, and sent it back the same day. The content was pretty good, nothing new but good. If I had paid a regular Borders style book rate it would have been great. But it was $90+., which was way to expensive for the content.
If you are looking for a book on mental toughness (which is what the blue print was) go get Wrestling Tough: Mike Chapman. I would put every bit of my personal reputation on the line for this book. In fact, every law enforcement, corrections, military, or hardcore self defense practitioner should read it and live by it. Just substitute the word warrior for wrestler and you get two books in one. If you believe in the idea of being metally tough, this book will get you pumping right from the start.

Hi Bill, Vince, Did you guys like the Wrestling Tough book? There are so many motivational quotes in that book it is amazing. If it did not get your blood pumping everytime you read it I'd say there was something wrong. I usually don't like to share those things that I use to get an edge, but that book is one everyone should have even if it costs me a fall or two.
