Anyone here who lives in south central AK should come train with my group. Its at the spenard rec center ewhich charges you 3 bucks to get in, but the cla*s is free. The teacher was trained by a student of Marco Ruas

I just recently started training Ruas Vale Tudo... I dont have any matches under my belt yet, but some of the people I train with are fighting MMA in the AFC (Alaska Fighting Championship)

I am going to have to go with the DEADLY KIMURA LOCK, partly cause im real flexible, so people have a hard time getting me to tap with it... and partly cause its the only freakin move i can tap somebody in my guard with besides the occasional triangle choke (I like being on top)

I train with a student of a student of Ruas's. Our group dosent have a website or anything as its not really done in a school or dojo... hell the guy dosent even charge us for training, he just does it for fun. One thing I really like about the cla*s is the cross training. One day we will roll jiu jitsu rules, next day its kick-boxing.
A couple of the guys in the cla*s are fighting in the Alaska Fighting Championships

Hey everyone, Im Greg, 21 years old in Alaska.
I work part rime, going to college part time. Play in a band and recently started training in Ruas Vale Tudo (mostly the jiu jitsu but we do some Muay Thai as well)
