I carry that same gun. I have a belt loop holster with a snap guard. The holster is one that tilts so that the gun is facing behind you and it doesn't rotate. I'm going to have to try that drill.

Just thought I would mention this. There is a website where you can download a free internet E book. It covers several random techniques. There are no pics but its priced right. FREE. I printed myself off a copy like last year. It is still available at www.jerseyshorebjj.comIts in the download section and you have to sign up to download. Enjoy. Rob Voss

Update on the book. My computer crashed a while back so I had to start over. I am taking my time and getting everything right this time. Should be done in a few weeks.

Vince I don't have a website where people can read about it. Would it be ok if I sent you a copy and perhaps you can write a review of it on the board. To date I have only offered my manual on the RMATA forum. If you guys like it then I would put some pics in it and offer it in other places.. The way it is now I am selling it for $10 plus shipping. I don't have pics in it yet because I don't know if people will like it. Also I am working on my descrition of techniques the way Roy Harris does. I figure a good instructor should be able to relay techniques verbally in addition to visually. Vince I will send you a copy and just let me know what you think, ok.

hay everyone. My name is Robert Voss. I coach wrestling in Minneapolis. In the past 4 years I have noticed a repeating style of teaching wrestling. Coaches and wrestlers are always jumping to the flashy advanced techniques. So my idea with this manual is to bring people back to the basics. This manual isn't just for wrestlers and coaches. Its for everyone. I cover almost every aspect of wrestling in this manual. The manual starts off covering illegal wrestling techniques and tactics. I then move on to stances, grips, tie ups and make a transition into takedowns. I then move on to wrestling throws and then takedown and throw defences. The manual also covers pins, escapes and reversals, rides and breakdowns, drills and end of practice games. I also have a section on greco and freestyle par tier position (top and bottom position). I WANT TO MAKE THIS 100% CLEAR. This is a wrestling manual. There are no pictures or any fluf. Just straight descriptions of basic wrestling techniques. If anyone is interested in purchasing a copy just let me know VIA Email. My email is hksambo@yahoo.com

I personally have found that with taller guys a clinch or a takedown is needed. Me being of the shorter arms and height range I have found that swimming in to the clinch position when a taller guy is striking works very well. I am of a wrestling background so I am more partial to taking the striker to the ground. Other than swimming through the taller guys punches I have personally witnessed the effectiveness of changing levels and picking the a*sailent up in a double leg when they charge in. You don't even need to take a penatration step, just drop levels during the initial charge and they run right into the double leg. Let me know what you think.

That is a disturbing and generous offer. I would like to visit the UK someday. Perhaps when I pull out of debt I will take you up on that offer. It would be fun.

I love to look for bent arm locks from rubber guard. I think its because I can pull my leg to the back of my opponents head. Well I am also like 245lbs. Lol. I also like the rear naked choke and all leg locks(mostly the achilles)
