I'm not posting this to start a thread bashing this guy or his style (I don't know who he is), I just want to point out something in the martial arts world that I try to stear clear of. www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBjvIqw2Uyo&eurl=

I've been wanting to post this video on here for a long time. Imagine yourself in this fight against this muscled up inmate. How would you do? You can be sure that if you are not regularly engaging in realistic training against a fully resisting opponent that you wouldn't do too well. www.metacafe.com/watch/68713/prison_fight/

You might be right Migo. If he could have cripped the 1 guy on bottom quickly it seems like he might have been able to deal with the other guy easier. Well... that white guy couldnt have done it, it seems, but someone with some more basic skills in all ranges.
It's good to spar 2 on 1 from time to time to prepare for these type of situations.

Wow... he's a big 178er! He'd be more than a handful for most heavyweights! No problem Boyd... I shuffle things around and tidy up around here and it usually goes unnoticed.

Looks good... quick, hard strikes, good sprawl. I wish him well.

For me, the funniest part of this video clip is the similarity to so many "martial artists" out there who do not train realistically with sparring and grappling. Because of that they feel they must compensate with belts, terminology, past records, and flashy moves that look good against a cooperative opponent. video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7925292111832234698&q=jim+carey&pl=true

It's not a freak accident if the guy applying the submission is doing so at a reckless speed. He put the guy on bottom's arm way behind his back... even if the arm broke at the "wrong spot" there is no excuse for throwing the submission on so fast and bring it so far behind his back.

Nice statement by JP. I still don't see how he says he didn't break the guys arm but it was a freak accident. It looks like he just cranked the arm as fast as he possible could as soon as he secured the downward shoulder crank. It's not like the guy's arm got that far behind his back all by itself.

This happened in a Danish grappling tournament rescently. The guy in the black shirt is a BJJ Black Belt named Joao Pedro. The guy with no shirt who gets injured has 4 months on training. If I were running this tournament I would at a minumum kick the guy in the black shirt out. If I were the guy getting injured I'd probably sue the guy who hurt me. There was no time to tap at all. youtube.com/watch?v=wVYuVQd-SdU

It looks like it might have been downloaded so many times that it's reached it's limit for a while. I'm not sure though. If I can find it elsewhere I'll post it.
The video is of a white guy and a Mexican guy doing an NHB fight out in the woods. The Mexican guy gets a quick KO on the white guy and continues to beat on him after the white guy is down and out, and then drops some heavy knees on the white guy. It's the type of thing caught on video that would put someone in prison for sure.

I'm not sure if you posted the right video clip or if I'm just seeing the wrong clip for some reason. This clip is a Kid Yamato NHB fight in which the whole fight is on the ground and ends in a KO from strikes.
